    Training

    Our two-day on-site intensive multi-family real estate development training course empowers our clients to make informative project related decisions after developing a clear understanding of how deals are structured and financed. The training takes our students from the pre-planning stages of a project through hands on financial calculations that will help determine how much debt a project can support to how much equity can be generated from the sale of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. Our Youth development training creates a wonderful platform and opportunity for innovation and creativity while also allowing for wealth build developments to occur.

  • Project Planning

    The Hudson Real Estate Advisory Group assist its clients in planning their development projects at the very early stages of development. We participate in the community visioning process working hand in hand with the community and land planners to help determine site design and feasibility. Our strategy is to aid our clients in selecting and managing a very experienced development team that will assist our clients in carrying-out their development projects. We assist our clients in selecting a development partner based on their capacity and financial needs, along with the partner’s willingness to participate in a fair and equitable partnership that is based on reasonable distribution of fees and ownership/management control. In other words- “we protect the interest and investments of each client from beginning to end”.


    Predevelopment Stage

    During the predevelopment stage, we work closely with our client’s legal team in creating an ownership structure that defines our client’s rewards, risk and ownership in the real estate transaction. We will also help structure and negotiate any partnership agreements with potential development partners. The Hudson Real Estate Advisory Group will gather information from each member of the development team and use this information to address any upfront issues that may occur (environmental, design, market, legal, zoning, financial) and create project budgets, pro-formas and initial financial modeling scenarios.

    Development Stage

    During this stage, we will continue our financial modeling while working extremely close with our client’s architects, engineers, cost estimators and development partners (if needed) on finalizing the overall design and cost of the project. Afterwards, we will work with our clients and their development partner to prepare Low-Income Housing Tax Credit applications, Debt and Equity proposals, Federal HOME Loan Bank AHP funding applications, HOME, and CDBG funding applications. In addition, we work closely with our clients in preparing Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) CHAP applications, as well as closing on RAD and other financial transactions.
